As fitness enthusiasts over 50, we understand the unique challenges and needs of midlife and beyond, and we offer simple, effective programs designed for real schedules, whether at home or in the gym, for all fitness levels and ages.

Our Story
More than 20 years ago, after stepping away from sports, gaining weight, and feeling the impact on my health and energy, fitness became a necessity, not a hobby. Lifting weights and improving nutrition wasn’t about aesthetics; it was about health, longevity, and being fully present for my family. That journey led me to earn a Certified Personal Trainer license and a Macro Coaching certification, and to helping others achieve the same transformation.
With a medical background, I also saw firsthand how important fitness became for my wife after pregnancy and postpartum weight changes. Through strength training, proper nutrition, and consistent habits, she discovered how fitness supports long-term health, energy, and confidence, especially during life’s most demanding stages.
Now, together as a couple over 50, we bring real-world experience, education, and a practical approach that meets people where they are, helping them build strength, improve health, and create sustainable fitness habits for life.
Our Struggles
Our fitness journey wasn’t built on perfection; it was built through struggle. I faced the reality of my health with two episodes of SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia), moments that forced me to slow down, reassess my lifestyle, and take my health seriously. Those experiences were a wake-up call that fitness isn’t just about looking strong, it’s about protecting your heart, your future, and the people who depend on you.
At the same time, my wife has navigated her own health challenges with fibroids, learning firsthand how deeply lifestyle, stress, and overall wellness impact the body. Together, we’ve learned that true health is personal, ongoing, and rooted in consistent daily habits.
Mixed and Married Fitness was created to share what we’ve learned to help real people build sustainable, healthier lives through movement, nutrition, and consistency at every stage of life.
